Organic Elderberry Infused Honey
I begin with a naturally antioxidant rich honey haled from a
small, family run (producing under 20 quarts a season), southern
Louisiana blueberry grove honey. Through a long and carefully monitored
process the honey is infused with organic Black Elderberries to produce a
deeply flavored honey rich in naturally derived vitamins and
antioxidants - no synthetics, no preservatives, no lab produced flavors;
just simply nature at its best!
Savor a spoonful every morning, add it to your favorite yogurt and granola and even use it to lightly glaze a salmon fillet - great to cook with, drink your tea with or just enjoy alone!
A few facts about the healing properties of Elderberries & Blueberries:
* Both are rich in anthocyanin flavonoids which are proven to have free radical suppressing activity throughout the cardiovascular system.
* Black elderberries antioxidant and immune enhancing properties naturally boost the body’s normal response to influenza viruses A and B. Recently, the berry was found to caused a significant improvement in symptoms of the flu within two to three days.
